What are Series II Stimagz, and how are they different from the Classic Stimagz?

• Stimagz are a pattern-based, magnetic focus tool designed to boost concentration, provide grounding, and aid in breaking bad habits. Series II Stimagz offers the same satisfying focus tool experience as Classic Stimagz but enhanced with softer and quieter materials, plus a slightly increased length for ease of use. With its quiet nature and muted color palette, they are ideal for maintaining focus without calling unwanted attention to yourself or distracting others. 

What is Kickstarter, and how does it work?

• Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that helps bring big ideas to life. Here’s how it works: someone has an idea, sets a goal for how much money they need, and a deadline to reach it. They encourage supporters to help them reach their goal. However, Kickstarter has an all-or-nothing concept, so the project only succeeds if it reaches its funding goal by the deadline. 

What happens once the Kickstarter ends?

• Once the deadline arrives and we’ve reached our funding goal, all supporters who backed (funded) the project will have their payment method charged and production of the product can begin. Within 2 weeks of the Kickstarter ending, we’ll send you a survey where you can enter your shipping information, color selections, and increase your pledge level for additional rewards if you’re interested. 

Why are you using Kickstarter instead of just selling Series II Stimagz on Stimara.com?

• Kickstarter allows small businesses, like Stimara, to essentially take pre-orders for products we think you will like. It helps us gauge your interest before mass producing something new.

How long will the Kickstarter be open? 

• The Kickstarter campaign launched on March 26, 2024 and ends on April 18th at 6pm PST.

How can I purchase Series II Stimagz? 

• Simply scroll down the Kickstarter page and find the Pledge Level you would like to select. Then hit the green “Pledge” button and follow the instructions to check out!

What quantities will Series II Stimagz come in?

• Series II Stimagz will be available in packs of 12.

What colors will Series II Stimagz be available in?

• Series II Stimagz will be launched in Black, White, and Stimara Purple. However, if we reach certain fundraising goals, the following stretch goal colors will be released as well: Cobalt, Sand, Espresso, Lavender, Pastel Pink, and Forest Green!

How long will it take my Series II Stimagz order to arrive?

• The Kickstarter ends on April 18th, and orders will begin shipping out as early as July. We aim to have all orders shipped by the beginning of August.

Are there any countries Series II Stimagz won’t ship to?

• The list of countries we ship to can be found near the bottom of the campaign page. Any country not on that list we unfortunately cannot ship to at this time. :(

Why do these look like the toys I played with when I was a kid?

• When I (Kody) was a kid, I had these cool magnetic toys. While they were meant to be used for building, I instead carried a few around, constantly fidgeting with them in my hands—in class, with friends, or while watching TV. They were my first unintentional focus tools, but they weren't built for it and quickly fell apart. 
  
  Years later, this led me to create Stimagz Classic in 2022, aiming to recapture that sense of focus and calm, but in a durable, purpose-built form.
  
  With Stimagz Series II, we've taken everything that worked with the Classic and improved it further based on customer feedback. After experimenting with various magnet strengths, materials, and sizes, we've crafted what I believe is the ultimate Stimagz experience.

Are Stimagz for kids?

• Stimagz are a versatile magnetic focus tool made by and for adults in the neurodivergent community, as well as adults looking to boost concentration and calm the mind. Stimagz are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 14. 
  
  We use powerful, rare-earth neodymium magnets to ensure satisfying feedback, but these can be very dangerous if swallowed. If your kids want to try your set, we recommend careful supervision to ensure they are safe while using them. If you have kids, pets, or anyone in your house who tends to put things in their mouths, we'd recommend keeping Stimagz out of reach. 
  
  Magnets in general can be hazardous for anyone at risk of swallowing them, as the small pieces can present a choking hazard and may cause significant intestinal damage. We wouldn't recommend anything magnetic for anyone who tends to put things in their mouths. 

Will Stimagz damage my phone? 

• Most contemporary technology, such as smart phones and tablets, use NAND flash memory which is not affected by magnets like those in Stimagz. Anything that uses a hard drive, such as an old computer or laptop, may be affected by magnets like those in Stimagz, so we wouldn't recommend leaving them on any older technology such as an old computer or laptop.

Will these damage my credit cards? 

• We wouldn't recommend storing your Stimagz directly on top of a magnetized card for long periods of time, but our testing hasn't uncovered any issues occurring between Stimagz and cards through regular use! This includes storing Stimagz in the same pocket as your wallet.
